I am very excited about the program the Conclave Vice Chiefs are putting together for you to enjoy at Baylor in July. I know we say this every year, but this year's conclave is an event you won't want to miss! Why you ask? Well, we've got tons of surprises up our sleeves. Keep reading, I think you'll like what you see.

First off, we've completely revamped the structure of our learning area. Arrowmen now have the chance to earn degrees in subjects ranging from outdoor skills to ceremonies. We even have a program for new Arrowmen that will introduce them to various aspects of the OA and help them on their trail to completing Brotherhood.

Speaking of new Arrowmen, we have a very special "invite-only" dinner for the youngest Arrowman in your lodge where they will have a chance to meet the 2008 region chief and other section leaders. Keep your eyes peeled; you might just be getting an invitation!

Maybe you aren't the youngest Arrowman in your lodge, but rather on the other side of the age (uh...experience) scale. Don't worry we have just the event for you. Presenting the first ever "Adviser Scurry!" Complete with coffee, doughnuts, walkers and wheelchairs this event is only for the most daring of advisers! Oh and did we mention you're racing for your lodge? Start your engines--this could get interesting!

Don't forget about all of our other competitions too. In the DICE area we have added a new call-out ceremony evaluation and created an OA trivia contest to add to the list of classic competitions that judge things like a lodge's website, lodge service, lodge history and publications. Plus, back by popular demand, LODGEBALL and a new tire relay race! Start practicing now. Every event will help determine which lodge will be the recipient of the SR-2 trophy so bring out lots of folks!

I'm sad to say that this will be the last year that we have conclave with all the lodges that are currently in SR-2. Due to a realignment of sections, this will be the last year that this SR-2 will be holding a conclave with our 14 lodges. This will be your last chance to come out and see all your friends from our great section.

So, with all these exciting changes and this being our last SR-2 conclave together I've got one question for you: Why would you miss it?
